This is my 1957 19' Bell Boy Boat. I am totally in love with this boat but unfortunately I must part with it :( I have created this blog so that anyone interested in the boat can take a look at it thoroughly, I am going to post a video of the boat running, not at the lake but in my yard hooked up to a hose.
This is a classic 1957(I believe 1957) Bell Boy Boat. One of the first Fiberglass boats made. Originally from Bellingham Washington. It is a nice little boat and just needs some TLC. It has a Ford 6cyld that runs great, I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, exhaust system, water impeller. It has a new distributor cap, with all new points, new fuel pump, and fire extinguisher. I change the oil regularly on her as well. Also I put a bran new stainless steel fuel tank in the boat, I believe it will probably hold 10+ gallons, and there is room for a second fuel tank, I have the original but it is dirty inside, but you are welcome to it if wanted. It has a fiberglass antenna that works well but could use a new wire, the radio is not included, sorry, but I may be able to throw a cb in if onw likes. The boat has an Eaton out drive witch is nearly obsolete. When I got the boat the out drive worked but about the 4th time out it stopped working. So I took it to a local shop and they tore into it to find that all of the bearings inside were shot and ceased up. So I had it re-built, including a custom fabricated shaft(local fab shop) from the out drive to the engine, the whole re-build cost me about $1100.00, now the out-drive is like new and only has about 4 or 5 hours on it. The trailer needs some work, it is pretty rusty, but it gets the job done. I towed it to Fort Bragg, 5 hours from me, and it did just fine. The floor boards are solid in the boat, but the outside seats are getting kinda weak. There is a piece of plywood on the transom that needs to be replaced due to rot, but it is simply cosmetic, and I have some marine plywood for it. I have had this boat in the ocean and it is very stable and comfortable. It is a good old boat and I hate to part with it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This is a vintage depth finder. I hooked it up and it works well. It is curently disconnected but is easy to hook right up!

The birth it you might say. It looks messy because I tried to get the anchor in the picture. There is storage under the birth with room for a porta-potty if wanted.
This is the tag embedded in the haul, it states the boats numbers and who built it. 
The out drive has this plate on both sides. Classic!
Sorry it is sideways! This is the out drive and swim-trim plates. The prop is like new, it is in excellent condition.
